1. Overview

XKnow ("we," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you purchase or use the XKnow SEO Knowledge Base (the "Product") on xknow.org (the "Website"), how we use it, and the rights you have.

By purchasing the Product, you agree to this Policy. We may update it periodically; the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.

2. What We Collect

We keep data collection minimal — this is a digital product, not a platform:

• Purchase email — the email you provide at checkout. Used to deliver purchase confirmations, your download access, and product update notifications.
• Payment information — transaction amount, currency, and payment status. We never see or store your full card number. Card data is processed entirely by our payment processor (Section 5).
• Communications — emails you send us (e.g., support or refund requests).
• Basic analytics — anonymous, aggregated visitor statistics (pages viewed, approximate region) via privacy-respecting analytics, used to understand what content is useful.

We do not require an account, do not collect a password, and do not collect more personal data than needed to deliver the Product.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process your purchase and deliver the Product (download access + confirmation email).
• To send you product update notifications when the knowledge base is updated — this is the "lifetime updates" benefit, delivered to your purchase email.
• To respond to support or refund requests.
• To improve the Website and Product through aggregated analytics.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/UK, we process your personal data on the following bases:

• Performance of a contract — processing your purchase and delivering the Product.
• Legitimate interest — sending product updates you're entitled to as a buyer, and basic analytics.
• Legal obligation — retaining transaction records for tax/accounting compliance.

5. Payment Processing (Waffo Pancake)

Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake, our Merchant of Record and PCI-DSS certified payment processor. When you pay, your card details are collected and processed by Waffo Pancake on their secure infrastructure — they never pass through or touch our servers.

Waffo Pancake also handles tax calculation and compliance (VAT/GST/sales tax) as applicable. Your purchase email and transaction record are shared with Waffo Pancake solely to process the transaction, per their own privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

• Purchase email — retained while the Product is offered, so we can deliver updates you're entitled to. You may request deletion at any time (Section 8).
• Transaction records — retained per our tax/accounting obligations (typically 5–7 years, per applicable law).
• Communications — retained as needed to resolve your request, then deleted.

7. Sharing & Selling

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) Waffo Pancake, to process payments; (b) service providers that host our website or deliver email, bound by confidentiality; and (c) authorities, only where required by law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, and similar), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Data portability.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Security

The Website is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled exclusively by Waffo Pancake's PCI-DSS certified infrastructure. We store only the minimum data needed (Section 2) and limit access to it. In the event of a security incident affecting your rights, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.

10. Cookies & Analytics

We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies). The Website does not use invasive tracking.
